About Nodando · AI infrastructure for the financial industry across EMEA
It was never just the tokens. It was always the work.
Nodando starts where the intelligence layer begins — an EU-sovereign clearing house for GPU and inference capacity, built for banks, insurers, and asset managers across EMEA. But the real value shows up one layer up: when that compute becomes completed, auditable enterprise work, not just consumed tokens.
One contract. EU-sovereign GPU and inference capacity. GDPR, EU AI Act, and DORA compliance included by default.
How we think
From Tokenomics to WORK economics
The economic unit of AI is moving up the value chain — from the cost of intelligence, to the cost of a task, to the economics of getting complete enterprise work done.
Tokenomics — what does intelligence cost?
Token consumption, GPU-hours, model efficiency. Optimises a resource but says nothing about whether the intelligence gets used well.
Taskenomics — what does a task cost?
Prompts, completions, quality and reliability. Optimises an activity but still misses whether the work got done.
WORK economics — what does the production system cost?
Process, models, data and infrastructure combined. Optimises the whole production system for outcomes.

Co-Founder, Technology & Partnerships
Stefan Bergsten is a systems thinker, entrepreneur and financial technology professional with more than two decades of experience across institutional finance, investment management, digital transformation and AI.
His career spans market and risk analysis, portfolio construction, trading, financial systems and enterprise AI. He has worked through major shifts in financial markets, including the 2008 financial crisis and the 2010 Flash Crash, strengthening a long-standing interest in volatility, uncertainty and how complex systems behave under stress.
A defining theme throughout his career has been the transition from traditional financial administration to real-time valuation, automation and systematic decision-making.
Today, Stefan is Co-founder of Nodando AB and Founder of Arctic Tech Lab, focused on how AI can improve decision support and reshape the balance between human and machine work.
His core belief is simple: data is the primitive, work is the economic unit, and AI is a catalyst for creating better systems, better decisions and new forms of value.
